Our client a well-known manufacturer of medical devices for the OR and Urology area seeks a Regional Sales Manager. This person will manage independent reps / distributors covering the Midwest including Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin.
Provides leadership, counsel and expertise regarding matters affecting the company’s profitability, financial stability, forecasting and compliance with regulatory and business practices. The position contributes overall attainment of corporate objectives and ensures the financial reporting, accounting and information systems are operated in a timely, efficient and effective manner.

KEY DELIVERABLES
- Ensures sales and profit growth targets are met.
- Ensures profitable relationships with key decision makers are built and maintained.
- Develop sales plans.
- Manage independent sales reps (1099) and distributors in territory.
- Provides monthly insights regarding the activities, opportunity pipeline, forecast, successes, challenges, and customer needs.
- Ensure training and support of customers.
- Ensure pricing is within pricing guidelines.
- Ensures compliance of representatives, distributors, and NTI sales representatives.
- Develop annual sales plan.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a safe work environment by complying with all federal and sates laws, polices, procedures and OSHA, if applicable.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field.
- Master’s in Business Administration a plus.
- Proven track record of delivering sales results exceeding expectations.
- 8 years’ experience in field sales which includes 5 years’ experience in sales management and 3 years’ experience in sales of medical devices in the O.R. and Purchasing preferably in capital for laparoscopic surgery and urology.
